Appearing in all print editions of The (Columbia, S.C.) State newspaper today is a story entitled “Arrington goes to Washington,” referencing S.C. first congressional district GOP nominee Katie Arrington.

The only problem?  Arrington isn’t going to Washington … her Democratic opponent Joe Cunningham is.

Arrington enjoyed a nice lead over Cunningham well into the early morning hours Wednesday, but when the late precincts started rolling in it evaporated – and Cunningham emerged victorious.

Dewey defeats Truman, anyone?
